Former Argentine President Alberto Fernández said goodbye to his dog Dylan, who passed away after several months of health issues. Dylan had been the former president's loyal companion throughout his four years at the Olivos residence. According to Argentine news agency Noticias Argentinas, Dylan lived with Fernández in the Puerto Madero neighborhood and had a dog walker who took him out daily. In recent times, he had been seen in the neighborhood in a deteriorated condition and had difficulty moving. Alberto Fernández shared a farewell message: 'Although perhaps I never told you, I always hoped you would arrive. You were part of my life, giving me loyalty, joy, and tenderness. You gave me an unconditional friendship that only a few humans have given me.' He also added: 'We shared wonderful moments filled with silent peace and others full of joy and bustle. In recent months, you were fading away, and today, with much pain, I say goodbye to you. Dylan, my dear friend, thank you for so much love, which I believe I reciprocated. Now you will run in some paradise where we will surely meet again. Goodbye, beloved Dylan!'
